Sunday Board Game

carbonel, cakmpls' husband J, Steve B (WINOLJ) and KLJ (WINOLJ). I almost won - I turned in a load in Kola, headed to turn in a load in Killavare that would take me over the top. I drew one of the two disasters that would make me not win that turn - Wizard's Strike. (This has to do with the House Rules on Rainbow Bridge - the Rainbow Bridge between Bluefeld & Octomare comes up when the card is drawn and stays up until either the end of the game, or until the Wizard's Strike card is drawn.) Wizard's Strike meant I no longer had seven major cities. :-( It cost me 41 GP to get reconnected - and that was going to take me about three turns to make back.
Steve won, I think J was headed for second,carbonel or I would have come in third.
Since I thought I was loosing (as in, dead last) for most of the game, I'm quite happy with the way it turned out! It's a game that I find fun to loose, so I'll play it just about any time.
