For any quilters reading my LJ
My wife and her sewing group are planning on making a quilt to give to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Mankato Province.
Particulars are available here - check the first and last items on the page.
Short form - give them a quilt, they auction it off, the proceeds go to "benefit of women and children struggling with poverty, violence, homelessness, or illiteracy." Deadline to donate a quilt is 15 September, auction is 29 October.
