Oh, oh, oh. It took me a while - I'd been wondering why you were calling them "ecclesiastical" - but I finally paid attention to the context - and your current icon...
I didn't go searching for textev - I used the glossary at the end of the e-book version of Curse and Paladin. According to that, acolytes of the Son wear red-orange.
We just got home (took the scenic route down the Mississippi) and I wanted to thank you again for hosting the post-signing, post-dinner dessert-and-chat.
I'll try to get those pictures I took up tonight. Shall I post a link here when I do?
The only person I know needed a hint was Lois. I gave her a ziplock bag with five of each color at Dreamhaven. It did not register with her immediately what they were, and she did seem a touch embarassed that she hadn't recognized them immediately. :-)
Assorted people asked where I got them - the answer was "Mall of America". There's a shop that has 20-30 different colors of M&M's, you buy them by the individual color. You can get all sorts of strange stuff there!
One can find that kind of thing at various places. Locally, we have a great candy store on Universal CityWalk that carries the M's in bulk by color. There's a M&M store in Las Vegas too if my memory serves me aright.

Father = Grey & Black
Mother = Green
Daughter = Blue
Son = Red-orange
For some reason, I want the Dratsab to be grey and the Father to be white. I'm not certain why.

I was wondering what you meant by ecclesiastical in your earlier report!!
Very clever!! Did you have to tell everyone or did they figure it out?

You could have asked!
Yeah, I should've, but perhaps I got confused by seeing your report in three places. Which one to reply to? ;-)

Hee hee. She probably had a bit too much on her mind at the time. :-)
I bet she thought they were cool when you told her though!
