the movie, that is.

I think I'd seen it all the way through before. If not seen, at least heard.

I'd forgotten that the songs to spoken ratio was as low as it is.

I'd forgotten that Triangle Trade came from it - that's a gorgeous song! Anyone ever seen any filks that use it?

There are several versions available. The best, hands-down, is the fully restored 12" laser disk version, running time of 180 minutes. They found 16mm prints to restore all but five seconds of the original cut. It's simply amazing.

Yeah, for some reason they didn't reproduce the 12" laser when they did the "restored" DVD, go figure. Having been involved in a production of the play, I can say that the LD is closer to the original script than the DVD.
