Movie Night
Aug. 24th, 2007 10:18 pmWe just got back from Ratatouille (Oh, my - LJ's spell-checker offers up Bouillabaisse to replace Ratatouille!)at the Riverview. It was a lot of fun!
Tomorrow night will be date night with wine & pizza - and probably SciFi Channel catch-up, we've got a week's worth of shows to watch!

Date Night
Aug. 3rd, 2007 10:32 pmNo pizza or wine - instead, today we ate our first Brandywine tomatoes of the season (from our backyard). One for a mid-afternoon snack, the other as BLT's for dinner. After that, we went to the Riverview Theater and saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. We enjoyed it - I especially enjoyed the marriage! I can see why some people were disappointed with it, but I found it be a fun romp.

iraunink to wake up, we're watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I went to look up the IMDB entry, because I wanted to know what part Benny Hill plays (the toy-maker). I knew that Ian Fleming wrote the book - but today I noticed Roald Dahl was one of the screen-writers!

I'd forgotten that the songs to spoken ratio was as low as it is.
