1. What foods really make it "Thanksgiving" to you?
Turkey & stuffing.
2. If there is one thing that you MUST have on the table at Thanksgiving, what is it?
Turkey!
3. What "traditional" American Thanksgiving food do you absolutely abhor and refuse to eat? (Can include more than one dish) Please explain why it is the ultimate in squicktasticness.
Cranberry Sauce and Gravy - I don't like to put things on my stuffing, I don't like near-pure fat. The cranberry dislike may be a child-hood remnant of having it forced on me too early.
4. Pie! Apple or Pumpkin? Real whipped cream or Cool Whip?
Apple & Cool Whip. Except now I'm diabetic, and the whole day gets quite interesting!
5. What activity do you like to do on Thanksgiving Day?
Opening the Christmas presents.
My wife's family does Christmas at Thanksgiving - have the Thanksgiving feast, then open the Christmas presents. Then, sometime a week or two later, my father-in-law and mother-in-law go down to Texas for the winter.
6. What are you dreading about this Thanksgiving Day?
Nothing in particular.
