The weekend
Feb. 15th, 2004 09:09 pmFor Valentine's Day, my darling wife and I went out and looked at a bunch of Parade of Homes - the most expensive one showing this year, a few more in the ~$750,000 range, and one townhouse in the $250,000 range. Why is it that the hugely expensive houses have such awful floor plans?( Why is it that the hugely expensive houses have such awful floor plans? )
Then we went out to dinner. Neither of us had ever been to Culver's before, there was one conveniently located, so we went there. We liked it enough that it's on the list of places to go back to. Culver's appears to be trying to play in the upper reaches of the take-out restaurant space, nearly competing with the very low-end sit-down restaurants. Does anyone have any comments on this analysis?
Sunday was a quiet day - did a load of laundry, got caught up on some computer stuff, wrote a Minicon check, did some ironing, watched some TV. Irene went to a Ladies Sewing Circle & Terrorist Society meeting, then went shopping at Michael's - bought a 'finish yourself' toychest with a 50% off coupon.
Headed for bed shortly.
