Weekend Update
Apr. 5th, 2004 12:15 pmNo Friday Date - I picked up Chinese on the way home, and we collapsed early. Irene had been up and running three days straight (Tuesday with me for the biopsy, Wednesday keeping Monica sane during her fiance's surgery, and Thursday running errands, including the dogs getting hair-cuts) - she achieved consciousness about an hour before I got home from work, and lost it about an hour after dinner.
Saturday started with a quick shopping trip, and was followed by hosting the Minn-StF Meeting. I like hosting Minn-StF Meetings, I get to see more of the meeting than I do otherwise. ;-)
Sunday I didn't want to wake up. Irene dragged me out of bed at 11:30, telling me I needed to take her to Urgent Care. We finally made it out the door about two hours later. The doctor diagnosed a raging ear infection - Irene's on an oral antibiotic for ten days, and an antibiotic ear drop for seven. Then I went to the Sunday Minicon Work Party, passed out a bunch of checks, and went home just after the chapbook finally showed up. Sorry guys, but I wasn't going to be competent to drive after too much longer - I went home, at something (I don't remember what), finished laundry, and passed out.
And now it's Monday, and my body was most unhappy about how early I made it start moving this morning!
Oh, yeah - I printed new Minn-StF directories on Friday, and started passing them out Saturday and Sunday. Still have some left - will have them at the Minicon Wednesday night work party, and at Minicon.
