Vacation Report
Jun. 1st, 2004 10:12 pmSaturday: much shopping - mostly groceries
Sunday: drove Jake-the-step-son around - informed him that for any future rides, he had to be able answer the question "What is the street address of your destination?" before I would agree to be taxi service. He agreed that this was reasonable. Then I printed Einblatt, and came home to the Ladies Sewing Circle & Terrorist Society meeting. Oh, I picked up a Mandarin Lights Azalea and a Rosey Lights Azalea for Irene - she now has purple, yellow, orange, and rose colored azaleas to plant.
Monday: invited all & sundry to come over to play games -
kaustin, Richard T, Nate S, Jonathan A, and Rachel K. showed up. We played a railroad game that Richard brought, then we played Vinci, which is kind of a short Civilization game. We finished it about 7PM, and things broke up.
Tuesday: slept late, went shopping (doggy dry-cleaning cloths & buttons were the two items we were in search of), then went to see Hidalgo. Roddy McDowell and Jonathan Frakes were both in it, but not in the credits, right? Roddy as the Englishwoman's husband, Jonathan as the civilian who said "Paid in full?!" at the end?
