And the NEW diagnosis is!

a fractured L1 vertebrae - I'm out for two to six weeks, and will be spending most of that in bed. I'm really glad to have the Short-Term Disability insurance!
I've got a prescription for lots of hydrocodone, no more than 12 ibuprofen a day, and Zithromax - since was I headed to see him for a possible throat/lung infection when I fell, am still coughing (even with the anti-cough effects of the hydrocodone), and am considered to be a ... sensitive patient, he decided that the antibiotic would be a good thing. (Possible bacteria now? Methotrexate? Leukemia? 2-6 weeks of mostly bed rest? - all yes, that made for too good a chance of me actually having something, and it maybe turning into pneumonia.)
Anyone want to come walk some dogs? They'll get out into the back yard fairly frequently, but they do like their once or twice daily walk around the block. ;-)
ETA: With luck, I'll get my back-log of e-book organizing done!
