Spending Money

sraunFriday was a day for spending money - dog & car.
Mac went in for surgery - he had a big cyst on his right rear leg right next to a joint, maybe a half-inch across. We'd had him in to the vet a couple of weeks ago, they'd done a biopsy, it's not cancerous, but it is, on the scale of a Shih Tzu, huge! So, they knocked him out, cut it out, and cleaned his teeth into the bargain.
The car was having heating problems - more accurately, lack of heat. It never really got warm - after a half-hour, you could kind of feel some heat, if it was warm enough outside. The mechanic confirmed my kneejerk diagnosis - the thermostat in the cooling system needed to be replaced.
I also renewed fireopal.org for a year - that was another bit.
