Pizza: DiGiorno's Vegetable
Wine: Taltarni Sauvignon Blanc 2002 (courtesy of the Australians who visited us after Minicon)
Movie: Two Weeks Notice, a quite delightful romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock
Today was a slow start - Katie showed up about 11:30 to spend some time with us, and gave me my Father's Day present - a personalized mug. , She was surprised when I told her that she had a web-site available at www.fireopal.org. She grabbed some of the various tree limbs out of the back yard. (Anyone want some miscellaneous branches - from twigs to about four inches in diameter? Some is lilac, the rest is maple. They need to be broken down to some shorter length and have something done to them.)
I took Katie to the Minn-StF Garage Sale - I got an Embiid Publishing can insulator, Katie got a face-powder, mirror and brush set. Then we went to Station 17 Used Books, where I got hard-covers of Seeker's Mask by P.C. Hodgell (the Meisha Merlin edition) and The Spirit Ring by Lois McMaster Bujold. Katie got a couple of German bibles, and a for Dummies web book - I think it was Creating Web Pages for Dummies, it included a copy of Creating Web Pages with HTML from Cliffs Notes. I think she's hoping to get something up fairly soon.
I picked up Monica's friend Jessie - she had just gotten back from being a counselor at a church summer camp and is going to be staying her until she flies out Monday. Monica's here too - but she couldn't get to the house until an hour or so later than Jessie, she was at a bridal shower.
Now I get to do web and computer stuff for the evening, while we watch some TV - looks like it's going to be mostly HGTV.
