Last night, went to sleep about 10PM. About 12:30, Mac & Josie wake me up - they want to go outside. OK, out they go - then I have insomnia and can't get back to sleep for about two hours.
And then the thunder starts just as I'm falling back to sleep. Mac has decided that he has to bark at thunder. Every time. This gets old very quickly - I finally get him to quit by taking him out into the back yard, in the rain, and the two of us watch the lightning, listen to the thunder, and get wet. He decides he can stop barking now.
So, back to sleep until Chela wakes me up for her breakfast at 6:30. Then back to sleep again until about 11. Wake up feeling mostly rested. Waffles for brunch, watch some of the Black Adder marathon on BBCAmerica, catch up on lj, e-mail, and the daily comics. Have fresh sweet corn for mid-afternoon snack. Headed off to Convergence in about another half-hour.
