although I did finally figure out and make a couple of LJ icon pictures. For the moment, this is my default.

Irene's off at the Ladies Sewing Circle & Terrorist Society. I'm doing stuff around the house - laundry, putting up a shop light over the ironing board, replacing burnt out light-bulbs.

This is Mac, AKA Macguyver, in full show coat.

Mac, in his former life as Sir Winsalot (Sir for short) was a prize-winning show dog. He got named Macguyver because I got him and Gizmo at the same time - Mac was free to me, but the breeder was reserving stud rights. So, he's Mac because he could (and can) still make little Gizmos.

I got two-thirds of my to-do list for the day done.

Then we went off to see The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It was a romp! Fortunately, I wasn't really expecting anything other than a romp - although the frozen Mongolian lakes up the Amur River were a bit much. Well, OK, what was a bit much was the fact that the Nautilus could make it up that river. But that was the only time they were in serious danger of snapping my reality suspenders.
