It was Bone Marrow Biopsy
Mar. 30th, 2004 01:33 pmI've been poked & prodded - bone marrow has been removed, along with a bunch of just plain blood. Unless something really drastic comes up in the actual testing, I'll find out the results in two weeks. He'll call if there's anything that needs to be dealt with right away.
It was never really painful, but it was definitely uncomfortable!. I'm now getting occassional twinges from the needle site.
An hour-and-a-half after we left the doctor - having had something to eat - I was shivering, my hands were freezing, and Irene said my forehead was warm. We decided I was having a mild shock reaction. I decided that I was not going to go in to work for a half-day, and added a sweater to my clothes. I'm now feeling somewhat better.
Now all I have to do is wait for results.
