Cognitive Dissonance
Jul. 1st, 2004 03:27 pmJust got to listen to one of my favorite pieces of music, which is also one of my favorite bits of cognitive dissonance in classical music - Appalachian Spring, by Aaron Copland. Specifically, the part where he does the gorgeous full orchestra version of "Simple Gifts". It's just so weird to listen to!
