He was one of the group of us that was wandering around late at night and who went in the ladie's lounge and restroom at the Hilton and when he saw the icon on the machine, he called it a bacon dispenser and . . . the rest is history. He'd seen it on usenet somewhere IIRC.
This led to my leading a number of tours of the women's restroom at the Hilton that year . . .
