Busy Day!

I was dragged out of bed by the four-foots about 8:15. I woke iraunink up about an hour later, we each had breakfast, and then headed out for the day. First stop was the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, where we walked over to the new maze, walked it, and walked back. Then it was off to Clay Coyote Pottery and Gallery in Hutchinson, MN. Irene had seen an ad of theirs in one of her magazines, and wanted to visit. We now know where we'll buy plates when have a lot of money to spend on them! Then it was off to beautiful downtown Hutchinson, and a late lunch at the Hutch Cafe.

Then it was back to Minneapolis - we bought stuff at Target, Lands End Inlet, CostPlus World Market, Menards, Rainbow & Cub. We got back home about 6:45PM.

Dinner was black olive & parmesan focaccia, salad with fresh-picked greens from the garden, yellow bell pepper, lunch meat and cheese. Chambord milkshakes for dessert. Goldeneye and dueling laptops for the evening.

What's the maze like?

Multi-path, dead-ends, lots of greenery, some wood and cloth, fenced in display areas, dead-ends with benches, very little in the way of straight lines. There are actually two mazes - the Adult maze and the Kids maze. The both end at a lookout tower - you can kind of see people anywhere in the maze from it.
