Having a quiet birthday - you know, I can't think of the last birthday I had that wasn't quiet?

I've got a present from my mother to unwrap when I get home - I think I know what it is, which is just fine because it's something I've said is nice to get every year.

Irene got me a dragon pen cup several weeks ago, and insisted on giving it to me as soon as the nice delivery man dropped it off.

Katie gave me a doggy Christmas tree ornament.

My brother's and his family gave me a collection of Figi's nuts.

I'll be headed home shortly for dinner and relaxing - Irene picked up a whole Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme pie from Baker's Square, and I'm wondering how long it's going to last?

I think the last big birthday party I had I was hosting a Minn-StF Meeting. Before that, I have to go way back to get a big party!

My friends are insufficiently revenge-oriented - you'd think that someone who gleefully helped set up so many surprise parties would get one back sometime! Yeah, I would kind of like one sometime.
