I'd appreciate it if you'd look at this once, but will not be surprised if a lot of people find them boring.

I picked up another white this morning. 5am CDT is a wonderful time to be trying to grab eggs - it took almost 15 minutes for all the eggs to clear! Unfortunately, no silvers went by at 5 or 6am.

I'd love to - this is one of the cases where it's more pain than thrill! It was much easier when I was able to try it from work - they've got a nice big pipe. From home, the latency is pretty bad.

Let's see - I'm Central Time, I'm off work at 1PM today, get home about 1:30, then run off to grocery shopping for an unknown period - should be done by 5PM. Then I'm home for the weekend - Saturday late morning / early afternoon would work (I'm hosting a party Saturday late afternoon / evening), most any time Sunday would work. Monday after about 3:30PM is also possible.

Let's choose an "off" time, to lessen the probability of someone else snagging it. How about sometime Sunday morning? Do you use IM? That would make the timing a lot easier...

Should I unlink it from my forum sig? I would think that cracking eggs could still be abandoned, but I'd hate to do anything that would keep me from getting it to you.

Have you heard about the 'getdragon' trick? The URL to view your egg is http://dragcave.net/viewdragon/LU6b - if I change it to http://dragcave.net/getdragon/LU6b, and am quickly refreshing when you go to abandon it, I can actually pick it up before it goes into the list of publically available abandoned eggs. That makes things easier!

What IM's do you use? I keep meaning to get an IM client installed and use it at least sporadically, but never get around to it. This could be the incentive to get me to do it - I could get it set up tomorrow sometime. What's your preference? Right now, my preference is probably the one LJ sponsors - but I do have logins that I haven't used in forever for most of the other major ones.

Sunday morning 10am-12N is a good starting range.

Go ahead and leave it linked - I know that any egg can be transferred, and there's a hint that a hatchling can be transferred using the getdragon trick. I should verify that sometime.

Eeps? I just realized one thing that might interfere - the soonest my first gold could hatch is shortly after 5:15pm CDT Saturday. At that point, I'll have four hatchlings - no more eggs until the first two of my current group grow up, which should be shortly after 6pm Sunday. Your egg doesn't hatch until about 8pm Monday at the earliest, so there is time after 6pm Sunday.

I've just set up Pidgin and logged in to LJ Talk - the computer will be on all day, give a yell. I'm also logged in to gmail as fyreopal, if you want to friend that and give a yell.
