iraunink to wake up, we're watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I went to look up the IMDB entry, because I wanted to know what part Benny Hill plays (the toy-maker). I knew that Ian Fleming wrote the book - but today I noticed Roald Dahl was one of the screen-writers!

Date: 2007-05-18 03:50 pm (UTC)I didn't know about Dahl's involvement in the movie, but it isn't too surprising when I think about (at least what I recall, since I haven't seen the movie in 15-30 years) the movie itself.
Then again, I get amused to realize that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and "A Roast Leg of Lamb" came from the same author.
