Kitchen Pictures!

I just got a call from Irene - the floor is sanded, and the seal coat is on it. Most of the sanding got done yesterday - he had to finish up around the edges today, and maybe do a final finishing pass?

The floor looks great! I remember when Kurt and I pulled up the carpeting in our living room and dining room, found something similar and had them refinished. What a joy!

The floor looks gorgeous, but I was most amused by one of the early pictures: someone else uses the frying pan as a pot lid.

Actually, that was sloppy house-keeping - both the pot and the frying pan needed to be washed, and I hadn't gotten around to it yet.

And here I thought... *grin* We have more big stockpots than we have lids for, so the frying pan frequently gets pressed into service.
