I had another leukemia follow-up today. Found out the results of the Neutrophil Activation Test - it guardedly positive. My base Neutrophil count was 600, normal is, IIRC, 1500-7500. After the steroid dose, I showed an increase of 1000, normal increase is 2000. The doctor said this was a reasonably good outcome.

We discussed treatment regimes - between Irene, me, and the doctor, we decided to try methotrexate. 12.5 mg once per week, follow-up visit in six weeks, tentative length of treatment three months.
