Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, AKA Fingal's Cave, sounds like it's something I've heard in the soundtrack for a skiffy or fantasy movie sometime. imdb.com lists it several times, most notably in a bunch of Chuck Jones Inki cartoons. It also lists a couple of Western serials. It doesn't list LA Confidential, which another source credits.

Anyone have any idea why I associate this with an SF film?

[livejournal.com profile] jeff_duntemann, we liked it - not quite as sweet as a White Zin, or a German White. We'll certainly be trying more German off-dry reds! I would hazard a guess that we'll keep an eye out for them at the Twin Cities Food & Wine Experience in three weeks.
