jeff_duntemann, we liked it - not quite as sweet as a White Zin, or a German White. We'll certainly be trying more German off-dry reds! I would hazard a guess that we'll keep an eye out for them at the Twin Cities Food & Wine Experience in three weeks.

Good show. Let us know what you think of the ones you try. I have two unfamiliar German reds on the rack right now (one a Valckenberg Pinot Noir and the other a trocken Dornfelder) and I'll report on them when we try them. It's about time to take another run over to Coaltrain Wine & Liquor and see what's new over there. It's been a few months. The rack is getting bare.
