Young Frederick Lincoln gets rescued from an orphanage, becoming a servant in the house of Lord and Lady Schofield. Yes, this is Kate & Thomas from Sorcery and Cecilia and sequels.
It's a YA. It made a couple of boring hours on a Sunday afternoon at work go much more pleasantly. I liked it. I may loan it to my step-son, I'll certainly try to getiraunink to read it!
