gakked from several people on my friends list

1. Take the lyrics to a favorite song.
2. Go to Google Language Tools or Altavista Babelfish and translate the lyrics into German; then from German to French; and finally from French back into English.
3. Post the results verbatim.
4. Invite your friends to guess the song based on the newly mangled lyrics.

This song has been my earworm for the past week or so:

Approximately, as a circle in a spiral you want rad in a wheel
finishing or, on rad slipping by indeed starting, you want snowball to
the bottom never a mountain or a carnival balloon as carousell which
turns of the current rings around the moon

This is one of my favorite songs:

Praise with the joy, the girl descended from Elysium! The ray of
Froehlichkeit and enthusiasm mixed, the goddess, thy in Schrein which
we come thy from the magic the which star distributed far practice,
all the humanity of the brothers are plighted plain, where thy easy
wings remain.

Well, the first one is easy: Windmills of Your Mind, the theme from The Thomas Crown Affair.

The second one's almost equally obvious: Schiller's Ode to Joy (presumably as put to music in Beethoven's Ninth). Of course, it's kind of cheating to start with a song that was written in German in the first place!
