New Toy!

Thanks to this post from khavrinen, I found out about this deal at Target. 512MB SD Card + MP3 Player for $39.88 + tax. I went and got one over lunch today, and am very happy. (The deal is good through 20 February, according to the tag at the store.)

I wanted an inexpensive MP3 player that would be good for wearing while I use my rowing machine. Looks like it's going to fit the bill wonderfully!

Did you end up getting it? If so, how did it work? I'm thinking about getting one for Angel for her birthday, but don't want to if it's no good.

Works reasonably. Note: it has NO external display, and I haven't figured out what it's using to generate it's internal play-list order. It's consistent in that, if you group MP3's in sub-directories, all the files in one sub-directory are played before going on to another one.
