Bits and pieces of the weekend

sraunAs previously noted, we threw a birthday party for AJ on Friday. The last of the carrot castle bundt cake was finished off with Sunday dinner.

iraunink went house and fabric shopping with Margo and Julie (WANOLJ). I spent the day being lazy and waiting for Pets Are Inn to come take away Abby. IIRC, we're up to enough credit to cover them watching the four-foots for Minicon.
Saturday evening we went to the Minn-StF meeting at Marion's (WINOLJ) - it was a low-key, lots of discussion, quite enjoyable.
Sunday we took advantage of Showtimes' freebie weekend - I finally got to see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. It was fun, but the cinematography was really dark - there was an awful lot of black space on my TV screen. Was there any better detail in the theater?
Sunday was also laundry - I got two loads done.
I'm almost adapted to DST - we'll have to see how it goes tomorrow morning before I'm willing to declare for certain.
