A surprise!

So, this evening I'm madly searching for something I want to have for Minicon next weekend, and what do I find? Not the thing for Minicon - a stack of medical receipts from 2005 that I know were not included on my taxes. Oops. Quick trip to www.turbotaxweb.com to file an amended return - yes, this stack is enough to get me over the line on medical expenses to make them deductible on my Schedule A. We're getting another $200 back from the Fed, and instead of owing the state $50, we're getting back $56. Because of the way the M1X is written, we've still got to pay the $50 (waahhh), but we'll get $106 back.

Sure! Would when we get to the hotel on Friday be early enough? I know we're not making the Wednesday work party - iraunink has a writing class; and I'm not certain about Thursday - it'll depend on how much prep work I can get done Wednesday. We've got commitments tonight and tomorrow night, so I won't get much done either of those nights.
