Friday Night Date

We went and saw (heard) the Minnesota Orchestra perform Puccini's Tosca last night. It was (if I recall the term correctly) semi-staged - the orchestra was set up in two big quarter-circles with an aisle between. The singers moved about the stage, the sets were basically lights projected on the walls, a Madonna statue, a desk, and few chairs.

It was great!
