A Successful Party

mrissa & missista showed up first. kalmn showed up shortly thereafter with Pirate and Josie. A little while later jbru arrived with Tara and Teddy. There was much playing in the back yard. An hour later (maybe a little longer), and davidwilford & Erin (WINOLJ) showed up with Missy & Caelidh (sp? - pronounced Kay-Lee). Shortly after that bernesemntdog & kosmickitten showed up. chirosinger & musicmutt showed up with Kobe a little while after that. There was much doggies having fun, and monkeys being amused by doggies. davidwilford & Erin & Co. were the last to leave, about 4:30.

Everyone enjoyed the day (with the possible exception of Mac), and all the dogs seemed to be quite happy to be going somewhere where they could rest. I have three (mostly?) sleeping dogs curled up against me right now.

I'm going to do it again sometime - exactly when depends on what iraunink is doing when with the back yard.

jbru and I were both taking pictures - there was one more camera, I think it was chirosinger's. I'll get my pictures up later, I'll give a pointer to any others that become available.

The latest word (from sometime Easter weekend) is that the first bitch is definitely pregnant, the second bitch it probably pregnant, and she's going to let me know when there are puppies that can come be looked at. 60-day gestation means they should be born late-April through early-May, I figure I'll get to look at them at four to six weeks old. Which means sometime in early June by my accounting.

Glad to have seen everybody! Ista is so tired, between your party and her time with her grandmonkeys. The dogs behind us are kicking up a fuss, and she would love to bark back at them, but she is just too tired for more than the occasional muttered, "Boof."

What a good puppy party! We had fun with the monkeys and puppies and it was good for Kobe to get some outdoor time and dogie socialization. Thanks, we needed that.
