More on Mac and puppies

This is a good news / bad new post.

The bad news is, the second other bitch turned out to be not pregnant.

The good news is, Monday morn in the dawns early light, Mac became a father - 4 beautiful girls and 1 handsome boy. All are doing well.

I've asked about visiting and getting pictures - we'll see when it happens.

Monday sure was the day for it. Two litters of kittens here, one early morning (2 kittens), one starting in the afternoon and running into the night (seven more).

The breeder has not yet told me I can't take any pictures, and I've hinted / commented on it several times. Current theory is we'll get to see the puppies May 16th through 19th- which means it'll be a week before kosmickitten's wedding, and she'll probably be able to join us!

She wants a dog a touch bigger - she currently likes the English Sheepdog(? - whatever David & Erin have). We're going to be trying to introduce her to chirosinger & musicmutt's Australian Terrier - we're hoping she decides she likes that.
