As I noted in an earlier entry, CompUSA to Close All Stores (link to a Wall Street Journal preview)

I realized something this morning - they're the one brick&mortar store that reliably carried the Nokia Internet Tablets. Which leads to the possibility of taking advantage of their misfortune to get the new toy I want. Anyone willing to be an agent picking up a Nokia N810 if their local CompUSA has them in stock and puts them on a significant discount (30% or better)? It's got a list price of $479, so it's possible I could save a nice chunk of change.

There are lots of articles (http://news.google.com/news?q=compusa+closing+stores&sourceid=opera&num=0&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8) on the closing that aren't behind a paywall.

I just talked to iraunink about it - if you can somehow arrange to put it on one of our credit cards, we can do it. If you have to put it on your card, we wouldn't be able to reimburse you until February 1st, maybe February 15th.
