I understood bits of it because I could see that some words were related to words in English. "Pan" was the easiest. "Fluitketel" -- given the picture, the "ketel" part was obvious. "Loep" -- the cognate "loup" is used in a restricted sense in English.
Oh -- and "rugbybal" and "ghettoblaster" were rather easy.
Not a newsletter - a mailing list. In particular, a 'techies fun' list. A significant number of us are MI Tech University alum - there's a lot of computer geeks, several chemists or chemical engineers, at least two rocket scientists, at least two oceanographers, some high-energy physicists, some modelers, a bunch of amateur demolitions experts (some categories may overlap).
