That's the Guardian Dragon. It's definitely not rare!
I'm also hoping to get an alt.black at some point - but it's unclear whether that's available in the wild. I'm going to be trying to breed for it and an alt.vine.
Yeah, I've been trying for the alt.vine for a while, with no success yet. I don't think I knew there was an alt.black. Now I'll have to try to make that, too!
The initial known alt.black's from TJ's scroll indicated a cross between a black and a purple, or a black and a pink. I don't recall for certain what's been discovered since then, although I think I saw something about other crosses know to work.
I figure breeding a black to a vine gives good chances of getting at least one of the two!
