Best-selling science fiction and fantasy author Patricia C. Wrede will speak at the Yonkers Public Library on April 1, 2004.
Ms. Wrede's works include Dealing With Dragons and the other Enchanted Forest Chronicles, Mairelon the Magician, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, and Sorcery and Cecilia, written with Carolyn Stevermer.
She is well known on Usenet for her excellent and generous advice to fellow writers.
She will speak at the Riverfront Branch, at 1 Larkin Plaza at 10 am in the Yonkers Room. She will speak at the Grinton I. Will Branch at 3:00 pm in the Pincus Auditorium. Parking at the Will Branch is free. All are welcome to attend.
Ms. Wrede's visit is made possible by a grant from the Mayor's Community Relations Committee.
