IIRC, there was a way in LJ to automagically expand cut-tags on my friends page. Does the same capability exist on DW, and how did it work again?

Also, anyone know a way to get a reading page with all the current comments on an entry displayed? If I'm going to be reading DW, I'm going to have to save pages to some removable media and take them to work with me in the morning. It would be nice if I could see current comments when I'm doing that reading.

Are you using Firefox? The LJ cut-tag expander I know about is a Firefox add-in. I'm hoping someone will write one for Dreamwidth soon, because I miss that feature!

Don't know about comments, though. getting_started might know if there's anything for that. I've never heard of anything for that though. Perhaps also stop by dw_suggestions.

I did not even know about reading offline strategies. I've always had to wait to read journals until I get home. Not because they were behind a firewall at work, but because of paranoia to the point that I avoid doing anything at work that connects to their network. I already had a bad experience where I was found at as gay due to that back in the early days of the net. That's not an issue anymore since it is illegal to fire someone for being gay now, but still...

If I brought my own PDA or something I suppose I would try to figure out how to read with comments open and save the page. Wish I could help you out.
