Exciting Morning

sraunI knew it was going to be a bad day when I went to take the cellphone off the charger and it ended up in the dogs' water dish.
Then I took the dogs to the groomer for their bi-monthly hair-cuts. Come out - car won't start. OK, not totally unexpected - on the way home last night, the VOLT idiot light was on half the time, and the ANTI-LOCK light was on all the time. Call my wife, she calls the service station, they come give me a jump, I drive down to have them look at my car. ~$400 and an hour later, we have a new alternator and a new battery. I was planning on having her drop me off at work and then run to some mechanic to have it looked at - it was apparently a bigger problem than I initially thought.
I hope the day improves from there! Hey, I hope the week improves - I'm also dealing with another round of canker sores this week - the back of the mouth hurts to talk and eat kind. :-(
