Voted this morning
Aug. 9th, 2016 10:29 amin my local primary. Contests were for local Democratic congresscritter and MN Supreme Court Justice.
My local Democratic congresscritter is Keith Ellison, I really like him, I'd be annoyed if he didn't make it through the primary and I hadn't voted for him.

davidschroth & arkuat were doing get-out-the-vote for the incumbent MN Supreme Court Justice. Their cases were good enough for me to vote for her.

We got to our polling place about 7:20, and were out by 7:35. I was the 114th ballot passed out, and the 110th counted.While I was there, probably half the voters had already filled out their ballots and were waiting in line for the one ballot scanner to count their votes.
Civic Duty
Nov. 5th, 2013 08:27 amiraunink and I voted on my way to work this morning. We got to our polling place maybe two minutes before it opened - we were sixth and seventh in line. There was one person in front of us to sign the book - most of the line ended up in the A-F line. We filled out our ballots, and fed them to the counting machine - I was the third ballot counted, she was the fourth.
